Live update rail

The feed is driven from bundled JSON so new entries can be appended without touching the page structure. This is the surface that Pulse can write to first before Atlas resolves longer-term routing.

Update discipline

Every update needs a date, type, title, summary, and source ID.
The source table stays separate from the feed so citation handling does not fracture the card layout.
High-signal items can also be promoted into the hotspot map layer.

Direct operator path

Edit site/data/en/updates.json to append a new item.
Edit site/data/en/sources.json when a new source is introduced.
Promote recurring geographic pressure into site/data/en/focus-zones.json.
